The Longest Night Service

So much of the holiday season focuses on joy: cherished memories, the birth of Christ, family- time, gift-giving and gratitude for all of our blessings. There are people for whom this season is difficult. Those struggling with grief, depression, unemployment, infertility, loneliness and illness

can find this time in-between Thanksgiving and Christmas quite difficult and even painful.

December 21st, in the Northern Hemisphere, marks the time where the day is shortest and the night is longest.

We will gather for a Longest Night Service of prayer and Holy Communion on Wednesday night, December 21st at 7:00pm. Our prayers and music will provide a grace-filled,

beautiful space for us to bring our deep yearnings, tender prayers, and closest griefs as we both acknowledge the darkness and dare to hope for the light.
